Ashley Restaurant

In historic downtown Stuart, Whiting Construction provided roofs for many buildings, such as the Pressel Building, the Dehon Building, and the Green Building. Below is the famous Ashley Restaurant. We installed a coated SPF roof in 1990.Until early 2004, the roof had been subjected not only to the elements of nature but also wear and tear resulting from foot traffic of repair personnel, as well as grease and sludge from restaurant ventilator fans. During this 14 year period of heavy use, the roof received no maintenance or recoating. In early 2004, the entire roof underwent a restorative process resulting in the clean gray coated foam roof shown here.
